Gary Uftring has been a fixture to central Illinois car buyers for many years, including before he acquired his first dealership in Washington. Mr.Uftring began his automotive career on the wash rack at a small dealership in Minonk, Illinois. Armed with the determination to succeed and the desire to become a top salesman, he took advantage of opportunities as a “fill-in” sales consultant when the store was short-staffed. When he turned 18, the owner of the dealership agreed to let him sell cars full time. Because he was so young, Mr.Uftring focused on exceptional product knowledge and a passion for cars – two traits that serve him well to this day. Over the years, Mr.Uftring has developed and/or acquired multiple dealerships in central Illinois. However, his focus has always remained on great customer service and a commitment to giving back to the community.

With over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, I am proud to serve as the General Sales Manager at Land Rover Peoria. I joined the dealership in May 2023 and have been dedicated to delivering the exceptional service and luxury experience that Jaguar and Land Rover customers deserve.

Originally from Round Rock, Texas, I moved to Las Vegas in 2012, where I continued my career with the same auto group I worked with in Texas. It was there that I met my wife, Sarah, who is originally from Peoria and attended St. Thomas School as a child. In 2019, we moved to Peoria, drawn by its reputation as a wonderful community for raising a family. Today, Sarah is a teacher at St. Thomas School, where our two daughters, Lily and Chloe, are students.

Hi, I’m Eric. I grew up in Marquette Heights and now live in Pekin with my wife, son and daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy collecting CDs, records, and coins, as well as building models, reading and spending time outdoors.

Being part of the Uftring Auto Group and supporting the legendary Land Rover brand is an incredible experience. I’m fascinated by how these vehicles continue to push boundaries with their technology and capabilities year after year.

I have 31 years of experience in the automotive industry, and have been with the Uftring Auto Group for 23 years now, the last six of those years with Land Rover Peoria! I enjoy spending time with family and friends after work. More importantly, spoiling and spending time with my granddaughter. I enjoy bowling, especially with my wife, and stock car racing; dirt track and Nextel Cup are our greatest interests.
